The Academic Support Center offers free tutoring, spaces for learning, technology, peer coaching, workshops, and more – all of which are easily accessible and conveniently located in cultural centers, in three campus residence halls, and in the Office of the Vice President for Diversity, Equity, and Multicultural Affairs (OVPDEMA) academic units. Students can access ASC’s services Sunday through Thursday from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m.
ASC Update for Summer/Fall 2020 (updated May 29, 2020): In response to the ongoing novel coronavirus COVID-19 situation, the Academic Support Center (ASC) suspended its evening tutoring in residence hall locations and its daytime tutoring in various satellite locations for the latter part of the spring 2020 semester. The ASC is not open for tutoring during the summer, and the program's services will be offered online only during the 2020-2021 academic year, with no in-person help (either in the residence halls or satellite locations) planned at this point.
Zoom sessions will be available during the ASC’s usual hours of operation (Sunday-Thursday from 7:00-11:00 pm) for the upcoming academic year. More information about how to request the Zoom links can be found on the tutoring services page of this website.
