ASC Tutoring Services

Empowering Students

Everyone needs a little help sometimes. That's why the Academic Support Center offers free tutoring and works with students to help them develop the study skills needed to succeed in the classroom.  

ASC Update (updated November 13, 2024): 

All locations of the ASC (Briscoe, Forest, Teter, and Zoom) are open for the fall 2024 semester, and our main hours of operation are Sunday-Thursday from 7-11 pm. 

All ASC locations (Briscoe, Forest, Teter, and Zoom) will be closed for Thanksgiving break from Sunday, 11/24/24, through Sunday, 12/1/24, and will re-open for evening help on Monday, 12/2/24.

Students interested in finding out more information about ASC services can send an email request from their IU email to the ASC departmental email at acadsupp@iu.edu with a reply via email within 24-36 hours.  The Zoom link for the ASC evening session that will be open during our evening hours of operation on Sunday-Thursday from 7-11 pm for the fall 2024 semester can be found here: https://iu.zoom.us/j/82298047854

There will be math and writing tutoring available during the ASC's evening tutoring sessions (in-person and online).  Specific updates about limited services (no math help on a particular night or a location closure) will be added to this website throughout the semester (see below), so check back periodically.

There will be some drop-in subject area tutoring available for fall 2024 (details also updated below--check periodically for changes/closures).  There will be Spanish tutoring offered at La Casa/Latino Cultural Center on Mondays/Wednesdays from 1:00-5:00 pm and Tuesdays/Thursdays from 5:00-7:00 pm.  There will be physiology (PHSL-P225) help on Mondays and Wednesdays from 3:00-6:00 pm in the Forest C230 classroom.  There will be anatomy (ANAT-A225) help on Tuesdays from 3:30-5:30 pm and Thursdays from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm in the Teter conference room.  There will also be online ANAT-A225 help on Tuesday mornings from 9:00-11:00 am on Zoom at this link.

Advising and Major Exploration Services
