Everyone needs a little help sometimes. That's why the Academic Support Center offers free tutoring and works with students to help them develop the study skills needed to succeed in the classroom.
ASC Update for Spring 2021 (updated 1/20/21): For the spring 2021 semester, the ASC is offering online tutoring only during the ASC’s usual hours of operation (Sunday-Thursday from 7:00-11:00 pm EST). The Zoom link for the ASC's math/business evening help session will be https://iu.zoom.us/j/92043292109, and the Zoom link for the ASC's writing evening help session will be https://iu.zoom.us/j/99299571452. Students interested in finding out more information about these Zoom sessions can send an email request from their IU email to the ASC departmental email at email@example.com with a reply via email within 24-36 hours. NOTE: For Spring 2021, the first night of ASC tutoring will be Sunday, January 24.
After accessing/receiving the Zoom link, students can join the appropriate Zoom meeting during our evening hours of operation, and they will be admitted into the session, checked in, and then moved to a breakout room to work with a tutor (either individually or as part of a small group).
There will be math and writing tutoring available during all of the ASC's evening tutoring sessions, and other subject area tutoring will be available at specific times. For Spring 2021, the subject area help will include introductory business help (for A100, K201, and E201) on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays from 7:00-11:00 pm.
